Second processing of wood
On the way to the finished product

After the initial processing and drying of the wood, the wood undergoes several more steps before it reaches the finished product:
- According to a pre-established implementation plan, pieces of raw wood are drawn and then sawn into boards with specific dimensions;
- each piece is then worked (planed on each side) to obtain a perfect parallelepiped;
- its definite length takes place at the same time;
- This is followed by the installation of the joints (tenons and mortises, tongue and groove, dovetails or straight, etc.);
- profiling, moulding, turning give the desired shape to different pieces of wood;
- the whole thing is assembled with suitable glue;
- the finishing are carried out by sanding finer and finer before covering the wood with products such as varnish, wax, stain, etc.
