The missions accomplished at the log level are:

- logging (felling, skidding and cutting into fixed lengths);

- Determination of the potential uses of the parts of the log (veneering, rotary peeling, sawing, cooperage, more industrial uses, etc.) according to their diameters and other dimensions, qualities (presence of minor or major defects), origin, etc.

- Estimation of financial value and negotiation with potential clients;

- Preparing the logs for their destination;

- Export possibilities.
