Forests and trees

Forests are undeniably a blessing for people and nature. By storing CO² from air, they fight against global warming while producing trees with multiple uses.
Their ecosystem is complex and rich, but what attracts humans in particular is the production of trees, these quiet giants can sometimes exceed a hundred metres in height.
Silviculture enables man to find a balance between the production of trees whose wood is of particular interest to him and the needs of nature, which imposes its rules through the climate, the soil, the exposure of the land, etc.
Trees do not all have the same qualities: among the same species, some grow according to ideal criteria for human needs (straight logs, without severe anomalies, low decay, etc.); others produce boles that prevent noble use.
