The missions assumed at tree level are:

- Determination of standing wood species;

- estimation in volume, quality and value;

- recognition of visible defects (sound or rotten knots,  torso fibre, bark entry, etc.);

- estimation of invisible defects;

- creation of a computer program for estimating standing timber.
